BLACK LANTERN! THE RAREST SUPER IN INJUSTICE 2 – Injustice 2: “Green Lantern” Gameplay

[Music] All right. What’s up, ladies and gentlemen? It’s Super here and welcome back to another Injustice 2 video. Today, we’re going to be Wow. Really? Greenantern. We’re going to be doing the third and final video here with Green Lantern. We’re actually going to be going back to John Stewart for this one and then the second set because Injustice two sets last a long time. Usually I go with two sets in an Injustice video. But after that, I’ll play with the Black Lantern Core. The lantern core of death. Hell Jordan. I’ll speak then I’ll beat you. There you go. Phil Lamar leak injustice 3 for us. I was so close to pressing a button and getting hit by a random ass back three. The good thing is that I still had Clash, right? But imagine if he would have hit me with that back three and then did another back three or forward three. I would have been I would have been fudged. Oh, he’s waking up. Oh, come on. And I actually had hit him with the mixup, too. Oo. Uh-oh. Yeah, I actually really like playing Green Lantern. Uh, he’s pretty simple. He’s pretty simple as far as like a lot of your offense is going to start with 2, two, three, and oh [ __ ] and back three, of course. Nice block. That was actually supposed to be a cross up. He’s trying to wake up with something. So, a lot of the game plan for you’re under arrest. Green Lantern is going to be pretty simple, but like playing him is actually really fun. Ouch. Oh, I I was going to block that. Oh, no. Come on. All right. Yeah, I knew that he wanted to do something on wake up, whether it be the tackle or something crazy like a leap. All right, John Stewart, it was nice playing with you again, man. Now, let’s move on to Hal Jordan. All right. Well, it is pretty late right now. It’s 10:26. So, unfortunately, we did get the same player, but we got to use a different costume. Oh, look at this one, guys. Gorilla, the lantern core approaching slum. Let’s go. He needs to look like a zombie though, right? When they get uh consumed by the uh The black lantern ring. Doesn’t he uh don’t they look like zombies? Ouch. Let’s see if I can let him play a little bit. Mo mostly I mean he already has like a struggle because um honestly Gorilla Grod is probably the most difficult character to use in the game. I’m like, “Oh shit.” Usually when someone uses Gorilla Grod, they they really just like having the execution in order to do some of his required cancels and combos and stuff. I should be able to finish it. No, I might not. Oh, come on. Lag. What does he do here? Okay. What does he do when he gets charged up like that? Nice. But yeah, he already is um having like a I’m a power character, so I get the strength, too. Look at that. He threw the car at me. I threw a gator at him. He already has a downhill struggle playing with uh Gorilla Grod. cuz the execution required for him is pretty high. You lack the will to kill me. I’ll take that as a compliment. All right, let’s uh use two bars of meter here. Take a little bit of life away cuz I do actually need um I need meter to put in work with him. Nice grab. I’m back dash here. That was definitely not a back dash. I didn’t even know what side that was on to be honest with you guys. Oh [ __ ] Oh [ __ ] Projectiles go through him. Oh. Oh, that was so fast. Oh my god, that actually killed Gorilla Gro win. I did not think that that was going to kill. I wasn’t even ready for the speed of the charge. I I seriously was not ready for the speed of the charge. Oh my god, that was crazy. I was not ready for that gorilla rod. Oops. That was nuts. Oh, he thought that I was going to Oh, I will take that. That was a complete accident. Oh, why didn’t he He He shouldn’t haveh held it like that. If he wouldn’t have held it, he actually would have gotten me. Oh, I thought I was going to be able to convert that. Too slow. Too slow on these. Nice. Ah, come on. Rolling ball. Invincibility on that. Just going to back dash here. All right. And there we have it. Your grave is already back there right in front of Swamp Thing’s cabin. That actually looks like the Evil Dead cabin to be honest with you guys. Swamp Thing is just checking us out. He’s going to be the next opponent. So, he’s just scoping out the talent. Guys, I still cannot believe that the gorilla garage actually ended up killing. That was crazy. I did not expect that. I I don’t know what side that hit on. Sometimes I don’t even know, guys. So, it does 168 damage. Okay. It definitely like that was plenty of freaking life. Oh, yeah. You think I’m going to let go? You think I’m going to let go of that grudge? I’m the I’m in the death lantern core now, man. I’m holding all the grudges. I don’t even think that’s the right lantern court to be honest, but a [ __ ] I actually wanted to do this so he wouldn’t do it. Dang, he’s still punished. Oh no, he got me. Yep. Wake up. Super move. I thought that was going to be the charge. Don’t scream in my face, man. I know I used to be part of the Green Lantern core and now I’m not, but that doesn’t mean you got to scream in my face for it. Is this going to be it? Come on. Nope. Whoopsie. I actually wanted her to do back one three into into wall. Green lantern wins. All right, last match here. Green lantern. How Jordan, how dare you go over to the literal dark side? So, does someone become part of the death lantern, the black lantern core when they die again? Or do the ring Oh [ __ ] Do the rings cause them to like die and turn into zombies? Cuz isn’t there a uh comic book run called Blackest Night where everyone turns into a Black Lantern core member? I’m pretty sure there is. Right. So, you don’t have to die or be dead. It’s just if you wear the Black Lantern ring, then you get turned. I’m like, what are you doing? Come on, bounce. Nice. Okay, maybe it’s uh I think it’s his bet time, guys, cuz he stopped uh he was playing more aggressive than this. It might be his bedtime. It is pretty late. You lack the 3:43 p.m. What the hell am I doing recording right now, by the way? I should be recording at like 300 p.m. when there’s more people playing. Oh, wow. That jump one was insane. Boom. Boom. Boom. Boom. trying to anti-air. Oh, that sweep actually worked. I think this should work, right? Yeah, there you go. Finish it off with the Green Lantern super move. Do you know how hard it is to convert this? It’s so hard to combo this, but it’s one of the coolest looking supers in the game. Black Lantern. How Jordan for the win. This right here is actually my favorite look in all of Injustice 2 when it comes to Green Lantern’s gear. I just really love the helmet. I love the the outfit and of course the best thing about it is the black and white color. It just looks so sick. It’s my absolute favorite Green Lantern gear skin customization options that he has. Uh, I have I mean I played Batman, but I haven’t really like dedicated a session to Batman. So, I might go with the bats, maybe Harley Quinn or something.
