Hey guys, today I’m working on the Prairie Stockings block from page 230 of the Prairie Home book. This one’s super easy. So, it’s basically a couple of rectangles, a square, and this bottom piece, it just has three corner squares. So, it should be pretty easy. [Music] So, now all I have to do is sew these two together. I’m going to mark a/4 inch away right here and a/4 inch away right here. And I’m going to pin at that intersection. And that will make my stocking come out with a point right there. So you can see that that lined up perfectly. And I did cut this fabric just a little bit bigger. So I’m going to trim my block down and we will be done with the stocking block. So I just finished the prairie stocking block. Now on this block, you follow the large prairie stocking block instructions in the Prairie home book. This one’s super fun and super easy. And I was a little concerned because these are on the diagonal and this is on the straight. And I was worried that maybe the prints would fight, but they didn’t. So, I’m very happy of how it came out.

Darling stocking block that would be a great stash buster!
I am loving this quilt a long!
